pst backup ad-in
I had to reformat my hard drive. Prior to having re-install XP, I was able
to download the pst backup add-in for office 2007. But after the re-install of XP and Office 2007, I get a setup error message saying I don't have outlook 2000,2002, 2003 installed. I had used the pst backup before, anyone have suggestions. |

Hi,
Could you try running search for the file "Outbak.dll" (Search in hidden directories as well) and rename it to '.old'. Restart the machine and try installing again. Hi,
You could rename the file (if it exists) as 'outbak.old'. Restart the machine and check again. Hi,
Go Control Panel Add/Remove Programs MS Office 2007 Change Add/Remove Features and make sure all the applications are enabled and run the installation. Regarding backing up personal folders, you could run search for pst files on your computer and backup the files onto a separate location. Or, in Outlook, go under Tools Account Settings Datafile management and select the personal folder and hit 'Open Folder'. You could backup the file highlighted in the screen.
