Default 501 #5.1.1 bad address error message with Outlook 2007

I have a new laptop with Vista & Outlook 2007. Am successfully receiving
emails and sending to some addresses, but have an undeliverable message for
most outgoing emails stating "501 #5.1.1 bad address". Any ideas?

Yes - they are all addresses I have used successfully on my previous
computer. I am going to check option by option to see if the set up differs
between the computers at all and hopefully that will reveal something.
