Outlook will not save passwords
 

I have recently setup Outlook 2003 on a Win XP SP2 Media Center laptop. I
have setup Pop3 mail, and tested to ensure it can send and receive. I have
ticked the box marked "remember my password" however when I try to send and
receive again it asks for the password each time. I have tried the KB article
290684 unsuccessfully. can anyone please suggest an alternative to fix this
problem?
