cannot find rules and alerts in OUTLOOK
Hi all,
I have Office 2003, validated by MS, in Outlook I want to set up folders so the recieved mail is sent directly to certain folders, but for the life of me I cannot find "rules and alerts" in th TOOLS menu. Any help please. Fareed |

You missed a really simple step - menus are context sensitive. So first
select the Inbox. Then Tools| Rule and Alerts. Have you configured a mail account? -- Brian Tillman Well sort of, I had to do a non desctructive recovery and reinstall the Office ,all is well now, but Gateway tech online support has no idea how to recover the data that was put in backup by the recovery utility. I will try them once again when I have sometime, I think there was a virus in one of the email. Fareed |
