Can I access e-mail after changing from Office 2003 to Office XP

I was using a trial version of Office 2003 that was preloaded in my new
laptop. The trial expired and I now want to use Office XP since i already own
it. All programs work fine except Outlook. When I open it, I get the
following error message: Unable to open your default e-mails.

Use the mail applet in the control panel to create a new data file and set
it as default. Remove the origonal data file.
