How do I find emails after reconfiguring outlook account?

Eeek - I have just reconfigured my Microsoft Outlook account by downloading a
PICS Rules File and seem to have lost all my saved emails, emails in my
inbox, folders and contacts from my account. Are they recoverable or saved
on my computer somewhere? Or are they lost forever... Please help!

Outlook stores everything in a file called Outlook.pst . Its location is not
fixed.

This assumes you use Windows XP.

Which version of Outlook are you using?
Open Outlook.
Help about

Folder options view tab uncheck "hide file extensions"
Also select "show Hidden & system .. "

Open "search" [ start search ]
Set it to search hidden & system folders

Find outlook.pst

Best of success.
