Importing previous pst file- verify the switch you are using?
I've got a trial version of Microsoft Office Professional 2007 and I'm trying
to import an Outlook pst file (using the Outlook97-2002) import option. All I get back is a message about not being able to open the file and"verify the switch you are using". I have no doubt about the file location. What is disbling the ability to import a previous file. I'm not being asked for the passwords which applied to the previous outlook I used. Help greatly apprecciated. |

First, why are you importing? You open data files. You only import them if
you want to lose some of the data. If you get the same error message, then you must provide details on how you created and transported this file in the first place. If you exported it, you probably corrupted it. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Wanting To Build Confidence" Wanting To Build wrote in message ... Another thing, pre OL2003 cannot read a pst created in OL2007, unless you
created it in the earlier format "Wanting To Build Confidence" Wanting To Build wrote in message ...
