I deleted an email account on my laptop that was pointing to an OST file that
I used at my previous client. Now I cannot open or import the OST file. I'd
even like to convert it if possible. From what I'm reading it apprears that
I'm out of luck. Anyone have any suggestions? I've got OL 2003.

This is fact. Deleting the account associated with the PST renders the PST
unusable. You should have created a new PSt and copied the folders to it
before removing the account.

Purchase an OST to PST conversion program. Google will find them for you.
