remove safe mode from outlook 2007
 

I upgraded to 2007 and cannot open Outlook. It is now in safe mode, how do I
remove safe mode?

I uninstalled 2007 and re-installed 2003. The problem is that I cannot even
open Outlook 2007 because it is in a safe mode - just says that it's in a
safe mode and gets stuck there. I've just about given up!

Again, you need to create a new mail profile. Mail profiles are not
affected by uninstalling or reinstalling Outlook.

Hi, Brian. I am having a similar problem. I can only open Outlook 2003 in
safe mode after uninstalling Outlook 2007 Beta. I have
uninstalled/reinstalled, cleaned the registry, etc. I have not created a new
profile but I don't know whether this would be the answer in my case. Do you
have any other ideas? Thanks!

Again, you need to create a new mail profile. Mail profiles are not

Thanks. If I do that, will all my settings and emails be lost? I still have
my .pst file.

You'll have to recreate your accounts, but all your contacts, mail, calendar
data, etc. are in the PST. See this:
