These error msgs popped up all of a sudden and I can't send or receive email.
Comcast will not help me. I am getting email on my Comcast server. All
settings stayed the same. One minute it worked and the next it didn't. I
need to use Outlook 2003.

I starting getting this same error code 0.800CCCOF just today as well. I can
receive but not send. I'll keep an eye on your post and hopefully someone
out there can help. I have worked through everything with my mail host and
made an even more serious mistake and deleted my preferences. now I can no
longer read my old mail... I know it's somewhere but I can't find it either.
Help someone!

Thanks, Laura. I'm panicked because this is my business tool, but I am not
getting any help from MS. Yikes!

I have Norton Security. I have deleted all incoming messages and finally
everything that was stuck in the outbox.

I deleted all my email accounts and just put them in all over again after
three or four days. I'm now getting 140 messages, even though the test
message said it could not send email and I needed to verify my email address.
All the settings are exactly the same as when I got the error messages.
Thanks for your reply. I definitely come back for help if it happens again.
