error message when opening Outlook
Purchased and downloaded Stand Office 2007 upgrade, I previously has Office
SB 2000. I installed and I am unable to open Outlook. I get an error message "Microsoft exchange is unavailable. Cannot open your default e-mail folders. The information store could not be opened." I presently get my personal e-mail from outlook express. I also connect to my work's VPN and they use Outlook 2003 to let me view my e-mails from work. Is ther something I am not doing correctly? I am getting very frustrated. Excel, word and Power point seem to be working fine. I have run office diagnostics and it says everything is fine. |

Did you create a new mail profile with the Mail applet in Control Panel? -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
