orphaned .pst files

I have entries in the outlook bar relating to files which have been moved or
closed

Clicking on the link I get an error message that says "set of folders cant
be opened
If I try to close it Out;look tells me the operation failed An object could
not be found

I can t use Data File Mnaagement - because the offending entry is not there
Is there a manual way to remove the entries ?

Thanks

It's best you create a new profile via the Mail icon in Control panel. You
can do it with a new PST file and then open your old PST's and copy data to
the new one. Alternatively, you could add your old default PST to the new
profile you create then set it as default and remove the new PST.

Thanks
Ok but that rleaves the old profile on the system
I suspect an entry or list somewhere which describes what the "current .pst"
entries are in outlook, which is orphaned for some reason and needs
deleted - with a simple edit ?

Does not exist - not editable ?

Thx
