Has pfbackup working, but after installing server its disappeared(as did
outlook messages). I've got messages back from a previous backup, but cannot reinstall pfbackup in order to continue taking regular backups. Message says previous version detected, followed by can't uninstall-use add/remove programs. However theres nothing in add/remove programs & I've done a search & nothing comes up there either. Any ideas on how to continue backing up outlook pop account emails? |

Assuming the dll exists;
The add-in may not be registered correctly. So, try registering the dll with the following steps. 1. Exit Outlook. 2. On the Start menu click Run 3. In the Open box type the following and click OK. regsvr32 "c:\program files\microsoft office\office\addins\outbak.dll" NOTE: You may need to adjust the above path to Outbak.dll to match the location on your computer. Also check under Outlook comms/addins that the backup addin is selected "Shell" wrote in message ... I don't know - will look on mon when back in work.
