I get the above error when I try to, for example, forward a message in
Outlook 2000. The application just hangs. I can get round this by deselecting "Use Word to edit e-messages" but I would like to be able to use Word as I get formatting problems otherwise. Do you have any suggestions please? |

I had the same problem with Office Professional 2003 : When trying to reply
to an email, there is this window opening : "starting microsoft office word as your e-mail editor" (i did NOT enable Word to edit my email). - I tried to repair my Office installation - I closed all MS Office programs and killed the remaining WINWORD.EXE processes. - then I restarted Outlook - When I click on "reply" to a mail, this time it works but then I can't close the message window, and I get the window "Word : this program is not responding"... So it's still about Word... |
