Default Cannot Load Outlook 2007

I am using a trial version of Outlook Office Standard 2007. Everything
installs except Outlook 2007. My system only show Outlook 2003.

How can I trial the product when I cannot even install the product.?

What do I need to do to correct the problem?

Default Cannot Load Outlook 2007

Did you uninstall Outlook 2003 first?

You can uninstall Outlook 2003 or you should be able to do a Change install,
select Outlook, and change the icon from "Not available" to "Run from this
computer".

Default Cannot Load Outlook 2007 trial

I do not have any Outlook on my computer and it still said that the trial
download of Outlook 2007 in Office 2007 Stanard was not available --
everything else was fine. I looked in add-remove and found no "outlook" in
any program name. I used to have "outlook express", but removed that some
time ago.

I don't know if this has an impact, but I first downloaded the basic Office
2007 trial, with no Outlook. A few days later, I wanted to try Outlook 2007,
so I asked for a trial of the Office 2007 standard that includes Outlook. But
Outlook would not install. Do I need to UN-install the first trial with no
Outlook, and then re-install the new trial with Outlook?

Default Cannot Load Outlook 2007

I wondered if you've fixed your missing Outlook 2007 problem.

I just loaded the Office 2007 Standard trial, and the same thing:
Word/Excel/Powerpoint all fine. My Outlook icons all point to my old 2002
version.

It's like MS is going to force me to buy it, and pay some guru to install it
correctly.

It can't hurt. It sounds like the installation procedure is finding another
instance of Outlook installed.

Naturally, if you want to use the newer version of Office you're going to
have to purchase a license for it.
