When I exit Outlook 2000, on a Win 2000 sp4 pc, it doesnt exit. I have to go
to the Task Manager and end the task. Instead I see a message that says
Please wait while Microsoft Outlook exits.
Thanks in advance.

Has this always happened? How long did you wait? Outlook might be closing
things and taking a while to do so.

It started about 2 months ago when other users got Office 2003. I left it
overnight and it was still there.

Did your machine get upgrade or was an attempt made to upgrade it?

Hmmm, the best way I could think of would be to check with the geeks in the
office first. It just seems interesting that the problem started around the
same time.

Note: Yes, I'm very much a geek myself so feel entirely comfortable calling
the IT folks geeks

if I recall correctly, this is fairly common with outlook 2000. do you have
all the latest updates for it and windows installed?
