Using "And" Instead of "Or" in a Rule
I would like to create a rule that looks at the body of a message and look
for a word AND another word--i.e. computer AND network. Outlook 2003 appears to only allow OR (computer OR network). This seems like a basic thing, but I don't find a solution anywhere. Any ideas? Thank you! |
Using "And" Instead of "Or" in a Rule
Outlook's rules and filters use "AND" except when the conditions are the
same, then it uses OR - so in your example, it's not possible unless you can use "computer network". You could use a search folder and use querybuilder (http://www.outlook-tips.net/archives/2004/20040927.htm) to locate those messages instead. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Coauthor, OneNote 2003 for Windows (Visual QuickStart Guide) Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "Budhead" wrote in message ...
