Shows error message ... "Microsoft Office Outlook has stopped working. A
problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the
programme and notify you if a solution is available".

Outlook will work in Safe Mode but gives no indication as to what the
problem is.. Have "repaired" installation using the CD. Problem persists.

Safe Mode, is that win safe mode or Outlook safe mode?

It generally means that an outlook addin, or other app intergrated with
Outlook is causing the problem, eg Anti Virus, if you have intigrated anti
virus with outlook, the first thing would be to uninstall your AV, clear
temp files & reboot, prior to re testing
