Default OUTLOOK 2000 with windows vista

since installing outlook onto my new computer with Windows Vista, I can't
send emails. Usually I send them but they don't arrive, but recently I get a
"No transport provider was available for delivery to this recipient" message.
As far as I can see, I have it set up the same as my old PC. Also, the set
up screen comes up every time I launch the programme. Help!

Outlook 2000 is not fully compatible with Windows Vista. These issues won't
be addressed as Outlook 2000 has been out of main stream support for quite
some time now. However, you should be able to get the default operation of
Outlook 2000 on Windows Vista by using it in Corporate/Workgroup Mode but
you could encounter other issues still.

Depending on your needs, consider updating to a later version of Outlook
(2003 or 2007) or use try the free Windows Live Mail instead.
