Transfer Email to new PC
I have moved my outlook.pst account to my pc but it is asking for my
password. The password that I use for that account has the same number of asterisks but it is not accepting the password. I downloaded a program to find the password and it confirmed the password to be what I expected. We have two ID's on our old and new computer. The main or first account transferred great! New PC shows all the old emails and contacts. The second ID is the one I am having problems with. Anyone have any ideas on what I should try next? Nicole |

Perhaps if you state your Outlook version, account type, and what exactly you're doing to transfer the data, both on the source computer and the destination computer, someone will be able to assist you. -- Brian Tillman |

Thank you Brian for responding. I was so frustrated with trying to transfer
my email and contact history from my old PC to the new one. I had read that I should move the .pst file to the new pc. I did this and it worked for my husband's email account but for mine I needed to export and import the files. I did manage to get it working. Thanks.
