Outlook 2007 Setup
I used the Wizard to setup Oulook 2007 and answered all the questions
concerning account type, server, etc. At the bottom it asked for user name so I typed in my name. I started to tab to the password when the next screen popped up and said that all necessary information was provided. My only option was to click "Finish." When I opened Outlook it showed my username and asked for a password. I typed in what I use in my existing email account....but it keeps coming back asking for a password. Can Outlook be uninstalled and reinstalled? If so what password is it looking for when I get to that setup screen? Thanks. |

Can Outlook be uninstalled and reinstalled?
Yes, but it is not going to help you as it is a configuration issue and not an installation issue. what password is it looking for when I get to that setup screen? The password for your mail account. You can reevaluate your account settings by using the Mail applet in Control Panel. If all settings are correct and the password is still not remembered see; http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/p...remembered.htm -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more http://www.msoutlook.info/ Real World Questions, Real World Answers ----- "Greg" wrote in message ...
