I have Outlook 2002 and it was working fine with XP. I recently got a new
laptop that has Vista running on it and when I try to open Outlook, I get a
message that "unable to open default e-mail folders" and Outlook won't open.
Is there a quick fix or do I need to invest in a newer version of Outlook to
work with Vista?

Outlook 2002 is not compatible with Vista. While that's not the direct cause
of what you're seeing and we could probably figure out the specific problem,
it's pointless to try. You need at least Outlook 2003 when using Vista.
