Outlook 2007 Configures every time I open it.
Every time I open Outlook 2007 it shows the dialog box "Please wait while
Outlook configures..." I do not have any other versions of Outlook on my computer. This same message also occurs if I open OneNote. Please help!! Thanks. -- Heidi |

It means that your installation got damaged somehow and the installer is
trying to fix it. Do you let it finish or do you cancel the dialog? If it continues to happen, uninstall Office and then reinstall it again. No data or configuration settings will be lost in this process. -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more http://www.msoutlook.info/ Real World Questions, Real World Answers ----- "Heidi" wrote in message ... If so, there ar numerous reports of this happening (it happened to me). The only sure way of solving it is to reinstall your operating system from scratch using the disc supplied and NOT the system restore facility. It seems to be an issue with the factory image. Care to provide a link to that discussion? I doubt that this issue could be
rooted so deep and while a full reinstall would work it is probably needles. Also, even if this would be the case, it would probably only apply to a certain amount of models which have gotten an image from a specific date. -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more http://www.msoutlook.info/ Real World Questions, Real World Answers ----- "david p" wrote in message ...
