Outlook using RPC over HTTPS not working

Hi,
We are using Exchange Server 2003.
Webmail works fine. Also Outlook Mobile access works fine.
However, RPC over HTTPS from Outlook does not work at all.
Any idea what's wrong?
Regards
Brecht Sanders

If you open a web browser and connect to:

https://exchange.server.name/rpc

Do you get any type of prompt to accept the certificate?

No, just the authentication dialog.
However, I can't logon with my Windows/mailbox credentials.

Is https://exchange.server.name/rpc a front or back end server for your
site?

It's an RPC-HTTP back-end server.
(RPC-HTTP front-end server is greyed out.)

Is your Exchange server setup part of a SBS installation, Windows 2003
member server, or Windows 2003 domain controller?

PS - I am assuming that both Windows 2003/SBS 2003/Exchange 2003 all have
their latest SPs by the way.

Not SBS, it's a Windows 2003 DC running all the latest Windows Updates.
