Problems restoring certificate

Hi,

I had to transfer my certificate to a new machine in order to be able to
encrypt and sign email messages.

I imported the Digital ID and now Outlook is able to send signed and
encrypted messages.

The problem is that restoring the Digital ID, Outlook 2007 does not show in
the new message ribbon the "Encrypt Message" and "Sign Message" buttons I had
in the old machine where I made the registration of the certificate with an
automatic procedure on the web (i.e. without an import from file).

I would like to know what exactly triggers the presence of "Encrypt Message"
and "Sign Message" on the ribbon and what I should make to display them.

Thank you.

Problems restoring certificate

I found the answer by myself, I share it with the community for others that
may have the same problem.

It is not sufficient, in order to trigger the buttons on the ribbon, to
import the certificate. It is necessary to Install it.

To do so you must, after you imported the certificate, select the
certificate in the Tools menu -Trust Center - Email security section -
Choose certificate - click to view certificate details - Install. A little
tricky, maybe Microsoft should have included this steps during the import
procedure.
