Outlook 2007 folder homepage - popups does not inherit session coo
Hi,
I tried to setup an Outlook 2007 folder to show a webpage by default (an url to our ERP system). Some parts works, but when popup windows opens from that site, session management in the web application is lost, since the popup window doesn't inherit the session tracking cookie (JSESSIONID). Is it possible to setup outlook so popup windows inherit cookies created on the main webpage? Another alternative be to fully disable cookie support in the embedded browser, since this would cause the application server (Java/Tomcat) to fallback to session management through URL rewriting. Any suggestions? Kind regards Torben Riis |

Don't expect Outlook 2007 to behave like a real web browser. It's not. Outlook 2007 used Word to render HTML, not IE. I'm not surprised cookies don't work. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] http://forums.slipstick.com |
Outlook 2007 folder homepage - popups does not inherit session
Hi Brian,
Thank you for answering. Should I understand it, as I do not have any chance alter any behaviour? /Torben Riis "Brian Tillman" wrote: Torben Riis;112130 Wrote: Hi, I tried to setup an Outlook 2007 folder to show a webpage by default (an url to our ERP system).
