Outlook email address autocomplete will not work for contacts that have both
an email address and a fax number. It will not recognize the email, as if the contact has two email addresses and I have to choose. I have to click the To:, go into contacts and select the email instead of fax. How do I get it to only look to email addresses? |

Since autocomplete doesn't reference your contacts in any way whatsoever, whether a contact has a fax number or not is completely irrelevant. Autocompletion works only with those addresses to which you've sent mail, regardless of whether or not they're in your Contacts folder. Thanks. I have had to replace things (got an Exchange server, than a new PC)
so that is probably most of it. Before when it would do it, it only did it for an address that also had a fax (when I hit "to:" to pull up the list). I will watch for it again with this in mind.
