The Outlook Address Book contains no data. It only displays what resides in Contact Folders. I must assume you have more than one Contacts Folder and are displaying a different one in the address book view than the one you are seeing in the Contacts view. How do i determine "Folder hierarchy" Address book shows names from contacts. if i delete a name from the address book it also is removed from contacts. The Outlook Address Book is just a viewer for the electronic addresses in your contacts folders. If you are seeing different entries in the address book, compared with what you have in contacts, please explain in detail what differences you are seeing.

I just realized the entries in address book all have email addresses. the
