Auto Add Contact
We must be on different planets: the vast majority of users I know want the
auto-add feature. Why couldn't MS just make it an option; that way, you can turn it off and we can turn it on? I believe that was possible in Outlook 2000, and it's hard to believe that this feature has been discontinued. It was a feature of Outlook Express, the address book of which Outlook 2000 IMO would use. OL 2000 IMO used a lot of OE for its work. automatically added to their Contacts Folder without their permission? Indeed, you do live on a different planet. Auto Add Contact
Russ -- I'm with you -- I *DO NOT* want every sender automatically added to
my contacts folder, but that is what is happening and our IT support folks can't figure it out, or haven't taken the time to figure it out for me. At any rate, I've been searching the internet for info on the issue on my own. I do have MS Outlook 2003 (SP3, not Outlook Express, and addresses are auto-magically appearing in my Contacts folder -- some are people I've sent email to, or received email from, and some I'm not sure where they are coming from because I haven't emailed them, or to my knowledge received any email from them -- maybe they are other addressees on email that I've opened.
