Sending distribution lists to others
 

I created some distribution lists that I would like to send to others so they
can use them. I followed the Outlook help directions exactly and when they
try to drag the distribution list to their contacts folder, the list doesn't
go there. Instead, they're presented with a new contact record for me (the
sender) and asked if they want to save it and overlay the record they already
have. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Depends on what you're doing. You haven't told us. "Outlook help directions
exactly" means nothing to us. How do we know which ones you followed and
how?
The correct way to send a DL is to attach it as an Outlook Item to a message
in RTF format.
