Contact Default Form
How can I edit the contact default form?
I simply want to add one line for "Department" under the "Company" line. I tried designing a new form by simply adding this field but the resulting form is different. For example in the default form I could click on for example Business Phone box and a "Check Phone Number" box with Phone Number details will open. However when I use the designed form I cannot get this option by clicking on the Phone box. Please help |

Tools | Forms | Design a Form, then see http://www.outlookcode.com/d/newdefaultform.htm I simply want to add one line for "Department" under the "Company" line. I tried designing a new form by simply adding this field but the resulting form is different. That's normal, expected behavior. For example in the default form I could click on for example Business Phone box and a "Check Phone Number" box with Phone Number details will open. Thanks for the reply.
I read the article however I have not used Visual Basic and have no idea how to proceed. My knowledge is basic but I am willing to follow instructions. Could you give me some step by step instructions on how to add this script please. "Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]" wrote in message ... How can I edit the contact default form? There's no script to add. It is not possible to display the phone dialog programmatically.
