put all email addresses sent in a special contact folder

Used to be.. maybe in version 97 that I could set up a contact folder as a
default and every email I sent out, the addy went into that contact folder.

I could then monthly go through that folder and delete what I wanted and
move the good addy's to my main contact folder.

I miss that option.

See http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/addauto.htm for various ways to save senders or recipients as new contacts automatically, depending on your version and configuration of Outlook.

ThanksSue.

I see that the program for 2003 costs $15 and don't understand what this
page says.
http://www.outlookcode.com/d/code/autoaddrecip.htm

I hope that Microsoft just adds the option back.

Microsoft has no plans to add that option. If you want to try the VBA solution, you can learn the basics in 5 minutes at http://www.outlookcode.com/d/vbabasics.htm
