Outlook Contacts
We have a new Exchange Server 2003 up and running with clients using Outlook
XP or 2003. When a user creates a new email message, using the TO: to find a contact, they, by default, see the Global Address List instead of their Outlook Contacts. Can this be changed so that the Outlook Contacts are set to default? Any help is greatly appreciated -- Kathy |

Kathy,
The way I do this is to go to the Folder List view in OL and look at the properties of the Contacts folder. On the Outlook Address Book tab put a check mark in the "Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book" field. If you want your personal contacts to be the default listing in the address book, open the address book and on the Tools menu select Options... The top drop down will set the default address book. Of course, this means you will have to do this from each user's Outlook, I don't currently know of a way to perform this task globally but I'm sure there is a way. Hope this helps, Linn "Kathy" wrote in message ... We have a new Exchange Server 2003 up and running with clients using Outlook XP or 2003.
