Create a drop-down box in company field
I often have multiple contacts at a company but they can get overlooked in a
company search if there's a variation in the company name, which is actually quite common; i.e. a comma before Co. in one entry and not another, use of Inc. in one name and not another; use of a DBA as opposed to corporate name, etc. With a drop down box that lists all the company names already in Outlook, one could be assured of consistency so all contacts for the same company appear when ordered by company. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. Please elaborate on what you mean by group and how do you create such a
group? Also, don't you think that Outlook should have the capablity of making almost every field a drop down list? That seems pretty basic to all major contact manager programs. And why is there no Find & Replace feature for updating in bulk. Like when a company changes it's name or address.
