I just switched over to microsoft outlook from outlook express and I am
wondering how to prompt an email address in the "To" box by just typing a
persons first few letters of their name.

From experience. Outlook will cache recently used addresses which will show
up as you type them.

This is dependent on which version you are using (Hi Russ), which means I am
making an assumption that you'll have to figure out.
