When I compose an email and press the "to" button, the dialog box pops up as
it should, but it does not display my contacts in the list field. I selected every option on the drop-down menu on the right, but it always says there are no addresses. I know this isn't the case because I have several hundred entries in my contacts. Why can't it "see" them. Thanks so much in advance for any help on this. |

Thanks for your response. I'm using outlook xp (2002) but I just got a new
computer, so I'm wondering if the old version of office isn't speaking well to the new version of windows. What I see is a little message in the field that should have my addresses that says "no entires found." On a similar, and possibly related, note, the program will not resolve any email addresses that I start to type into the "to" field. Thanks again for responding. That still doesn't tell us very much. Remember, we can't look over your shoulder.
So this is just guessing: Go to Tools | E-mail accounts, and add a new address list -- the Outlook Address Book, then restart Outlook. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "Connie" wrote in message ...
