Is there a way to edit and remove certain names from the suggest name that
comes up when typing in the To field? They are stored in an oab file in which you can see the contents but when I edit the file it does not work any more and I have to rebuild the contents by typing in the names as I go. |

The autocompletion cache has nothing to do with an oab file. What makes you
think it does? State your Outlook version and how you are viewing the autocompletion cache. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Bob S" wrote in message ... No. Nice try. Outlook 2003 would use an NK2 file. Why would you throw up
bogus information like that? Answering newsgroup posts mandates that you post accurate information and not just make things up. Remove individual addresses from the autocompletion cache by highlighting the entry when presented in the suggested names list (use your arrow key to migrate to the entry) and then hitting your Delete key before you tab out of the field. To clear the entire cache, follow the instructions he http://support.microsoft.com/default...;EN-US;Q287623 -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Bob S" wrote in message ... Is it the NIK file then?
