Outlook 2000 address book
After loading Norton Systemworks 2006, the address book has only names and a
few fax numbers instead of emails. Pressing "To" when sending gives this address book with no emails. The contact folder still exists with all the emails and other info. I tried going to the contact folder, right clicking, and selecting properties and then outlook address book, but the check box to "show this folder as email address book" is grayed out. I am using Outlook 2000 with Windows XP in the internet address mode only. Any answers as to how to get the address book linked back up with contacts. -- bilbo |

You probably can't. You aren't actually using Outlook when you use the
address book in IMO. You are using Outlook Express. Try repairing OE's address book or resetting its sharing features. You cannot do any standard repairs of the address book in IMI like creating a new profile or resetting the Outlook Address Book. Most people abandoned that mode years ago. You should too. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "bilbo323" wrote in message ... After loading Norton Systemworks 2006, the address book has only names and a few fax numbers instead of emails. As I said, you can't for the most part. Try resetting it by disabling
sharing of the address book in OE (Tools Options...), restarting OE, then re-enabling sharing. To reinstall it, rename any wab32.dll files and repair OE. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "bilbo323" wrote in message ...
