Auto Addressing Issues ... two

When I address an email, Outlook offers possible matches as I begin to
type. Sometimes it offers old email addresses for certain contacts
that have changed jobs and have a new address. When I go to that
Contact's page to delete the old address, all the information is
current and correct, and the old address does not appear to be there.
Yet the auto addressing function of Outlook is dredging this old
address up from somewhere?? Who knows where ??

Also, Outlook tends to forget addresses that I use a lot ... I find
this feature equally as frustrating?

Are the two issues related .... Please offer any help.
