Is there a third party software solution for sharing contacts on a (home)
network witouth using exchange server? I've found www.publicshareware.com
does anyone know if it's any good?

To my knowledge you can't share contacts with standard Outlook features.

If you're willing to restrict yourself to having only one Outlook open at a
time, it can be done with standard Windows networking.

on the Microsoft Office Marketplace it is the best awarded sharing
solution:

but I prefer to test a software always by yourself.

Right, this is teh reason why you need 3rd party tools.
