Printing/Sending Contact Info
This may be 2 different questions. I want to send a v-Card (perhaps mine or
another Contact's) to somebody else. Is there a way to control what fields are included. Some of that info is useful to me but not to others. Some info may actually be more personal than I want to distribute (e.g., birthdays, anniversaries, wife's name) . And I probably don't want the free-form information I entered about the contact (I don't know the name of that field) to print, either. Same question as to printing the Contact's info. |
Printing/Sending Contact Info
There are two ways to control the information sent:
1) remove unwanted information before you use the File | Save As command to create a .vcf file or the Forward as vCard command 2) Save the contact as a .vcf file and edit that file manually in Notepad. #1 applies to printing. The second method for printing is to perform a Word mail merge and pick which fields to show. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "Joe McGuire" wrote in message ...
