Can I send email to a contact that is not in my address book?
I keep getting the error - Does not recognize one or more names. This
happens with every email address I try that is not in my address book. |

Outlook has no requirement for addresses you enter to be in your Contacts folder. Can you give an example? At exactly what point do you see this message? -- Brian Tillman |
Can I send email to a contact that is not in my address book?
It happens when I hit send, with any address that is not in the book. Also,
I can't even enter myself as a new contact - it doesn't recognize/erases my own email address when I try to add myself as a contact. "Christina" wrote: I keep getting the error - Does not recognize one or more names. This happens with every email address I try that is not in my address book. |

Do the addresses get underlined when you tab or click out of the recipient field? What version of Outlook? What type of account? -- Brian Tillman |
