How to stop Contact Select from showing fax phone?

Outlook 2003: Clicking 'To:' presents the 'Select' list of contacts. I keep
the contact's fax phone numbers for reference. I don't want them to show up
on the 'Select' when I'm selecting addresses for an e-mail. Is there a way
to turn them off?

Add an alphabetic character to the fax number to obscure them from the
address book

I simply add an F before the fax number - for example if the contact
card says the fax is 212-555-1234, I cmend it to read F212-555-1234
and then the address list will not pick it up. There is a plug-in
that automatically populates the fax field but I had trouble with it
and eventually disabled it.

Good luck,
G
