email addresses not importing
I am trying to import an excel file I created at my plast job of contacts.
Everything is importing correctly, except for the email addresses. Has anyone ever seen this problem. I've tried importing an excel file and a CSV file (windows). I swear the email addresses were there last week. |

I finally figured out the problem and I couldn't believe how simple it was.
The columns in my Excel sheet for email addresses had the word "Email" in them. What I did was find and replace all "Email" with "E-mail" (note, do not use the quotes). I saved it, exited out, and tried to import the contacts again and it worked. This seam like a mishap on microsofts part. Wow, did you really get offensed by that? It was microsofts problem. The
excel sheet was created by using Outlooks "export to a file". Outlooked named the columns, I didn't. "Brian Tillman" wrote: molson1590 wrote: This seam like a mishap on microsofts part. How is it Microsoft's problem that you failed to spell the column heading correctly? -- Brian Tillman |
