how do I combine my two Outlook address books into one?

I have two address books, one called Contacts and one called Contacts 1. How
do I merge the two so that I just have one?

Clarify what you mean.
There is no address book in Outlook. Only Contact Folders.
Post your Outlook version and where you see these two "address books."

how do I combine my two Outlook address books into one?

My version is Outlook 2003. and I used the generic term "address book" for my
contacts...I have "Contacts" and "Contacts 1". How do or can I merge the two?

Gael,

Before doing anything, you should backup your PST. You can do this within
Outlook by clicking on File, and then Backup... Follow the prompts from
there.

In "Folders" view, you can open Contacts1, press Ctrl-A (Select All) to
select all of those contacts, and then press Ctrl-X (Cut).

Then open the Contacts folder and click Ctrl-V (Paste).

All of the contacts from the folder "Contacts1" will now be in the folder
"Contacts".

If there are obvious duplicates, you may want to delete them from Contacts1
before doing the above.

Once all of the contacts are in the Contacts folder, you can delte the
Contacts1 folder.

Hope this helps!

I asked where (as in what view) these two folders appear.
As long as they are in Contacts or Folder List view, your solution would
apply. If they appear in the Outlook Address Book as was implied, it would
not.
