Linking "display email as" with email field in custom forms
 

When I create a customer contact form, the "email display as" field only
displays the email display as name for "Email" field 1. On the standard
contact form, the "email display as" field changes based on the email address
shown in the "email" field. When I use this standard form to create a
customer form (without changing the "email display as" field) the "email
display as" field is no longer linked to the email shown in the "email"
field. Is there a way to re-link the "email display as" field with the email
shown in the "email" field on custome contact forms? Any help would be much
appreciated.
