Export Contacts
Hello,
I am trying to export a outlook 2002 contact list to use on another computer. I have very little experience with outlook. I read some of the other postings about exporting contacts but could not figure out how to do any of them. At one time I had imported a contact list to my outlook. So now I have two contact lists. The imported contact list is shown as a sub contact list below and my main contacts list file on the folder list. I would like to export both these lists as they each contain seperat contacts but have no idea how to do this. If it is easier I can export them to an excel file or something instead of a contact list Thanks in advance, Karl |

It's unnecessary and you'll lose data. At one time I had imported a contact list to my outlook. So now I have two contact lists. That's because you didn't transfer the data correctly. See this: http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/backupandrestore.htm . You should be able to extrapolate how to move the data between Outlook instances from this. -- Brian Tillman |
