assigning a contact to an "other tasks"
I share contacts, tasks and calendars with my business partner. I have the
contact data base loaded under me. When I open her tasks to create a new task for her, because I do not want to have to send her an email every time, I link it to the contact under "my contacts". However, when I click on that contact's name and activity, it doesn't show the task that I just created under my business partner (Mary's) tasks. How do I get them to show under my contacts? Or how do I assign a task to Mary without sending her an email. Thanks. |
assigning a contact to an "other tasks"
If you can see her tasks folder in the Folder List, you can try creating a new Activities group for the Contacts folder to show just her tasks folder. Do this on the Properties dialog for the Contacts folder. You won't be able to combine it with other folders. And you won't be able to do it at all if you open her Tasks folder with the FIle | Open | Other User's Folder command and don't see it in your Folder List.
