Birthday Reminders

I am having the same problem too, Outlook isn't generating a birthday
reminder automatically when I create new contacts or import contacts.

You seem to be very knowledgeable about the birthday reminders. My problem
is that Outlook is not always generating a reminder when I put in a birthday
or an anniversary. Do you have any ideas??

Thanks,

Brad

I'm sorry, I didn't explain myself correctly. I would like to
suppress the entire event. I just want to use the Birthday field in
Contacts as information, not to create a Calendar event at all. Is
this possible?

I don't think that's possible using the birthday field. In fact, if you
include a birthday in the Contacts record, then remove it from the calendar,
if you later make a change to that contact, the birhday will be readded.
You'll have to use some other, miscellaneous field or enter the birthday as
a notation in the note pane of the contact.

It certainly won't for imported contacts. I' can find no way to prevent it
for contacts entered manually, unless those contacts aren't in the default
Contacts folder.
