How do I export my address book from OE to Outlook 97?

I have exported my OE address book onto my hard drive, but I can't Import it
into Outlook 97? I was wanting to switch my email account to Outlook, but
did not want to copy all the email addresses again.

How do I export my address book from OE to Outlook 97?

Normally one would use Outlook's Import Wizard to import OE's Contacts
directly into Outlook. Outlook 97 is so old that it may not recognize OE if
you are using the current version. The path to try in Outlook's Import
Wizard would be "Internet Mail and Addresses."
